Jan-Mark Seewald is an independent education consultant with 25 years of experience in international schools. He has worked extensively with organizations such as the IB in roles including workshop facilitator, evaluation team leader, and consultant. A former middle and high school Mathematics, Science, and Design teacher, Jan-Mark also held various mid and senior level school leadership roles, most recently as Assistant Head of School.
He now supports schools in enhancing inquiry-driven, concept-based teaching and learning. Beyond the classroom, his interests include responsible school leadership, collaborative planning, and applying design and systems thinking tools to improve school practices and decision-making.
